This demo video transforms a scene from Tokyo. The initial version of SunflowerOS will run on Magic Leap 2 and other Android-based devices and will focus on 3D avatars. Later versions will focus on the runtime for multiple apps and Jupyer-style developer tools.

SunflowerOS Runtime
Future AR headsets will need a runtime that can run hundreds of programs simultaneously. Each program will be from a different developer, might crash, might draw over other programs, might use too much compute, might need to interact with other programs — and the runtime will have to handle this. We don’t know exactly what this runtime will look like, but we are working on it and the developer tools for it.
